Alright, I'll work on that in a bit, get things set up.

Yeah, tha's probably a good place to start. What we can do is set up each "section" as it's own post, then in the first post put a menubar of sorts, with links to each section. That way we'll have a basic "go-to" list for specific topics. Then we can always add more if need be. And people won't have to wade through this obsessively long post to get the portion that they need.

Start me a term list?
Obviously OTP, pairing, Mary-Sue, AU, ship, OOC, drabble, oneshot, rating/warning, lemon, lime, yaoi, yuri, mpreg, X-over. Anything else you'd like to add, my dear?

So far for "topics", I've got the following:

Fanfiction terms - meanings and use
Summaries - what to include, what to leave out
OTPs - what they are, how to define them
Mary-Sue - How to avoid creating one.
OCs - The proper, non MS way to introduce your own creation into the fandom universe.
Crossovers - Dos and Don'ts.
AU - Why Alternate Universe doesn't have to equal OOC
OOC - Keeping true to your character, while still using your creative license.
Reviewing/Beta-ing - Sharing your opinions in a non-offensive manner.
Critisicm - How to take it, how to give it.
English 101 - Common grammer mistakes and how to avoid them.

Okay, I'll get started in my next class since I won't have a computer to distract me. Right now I can't come up with anything off the top of my head. Oh drabble should be on that list, so people know the difference between a full blown fic a ficlet and drabble.

Those are all good topics too, a great start, we can always add more as we think of them.
