NejiHina Cuteness FTW!
Mar. 26th, 2007 02:50 pmYay, so here I am with some adorable fanart that I drew for Polychromatic (I play Hinata there).
Anyway, the weekend curse was 'Fairytale Day' and our favourite pair of Hyuugas were Prince Neji and Princess Hinata for the two days. Since it was my idea, I took the idea for their "fairytale" from the Coppola's version of Dracula that I have (not the vampire part). When the movie is explaining how Dracula became a vampire, it talks of when he was a prince and went off to war to fight in the crusades, leaving his bride behind to wait for him. Hence Hinata became the princess waiting for her love to return to her, while Neji was her handsome prince trying to fight his way back to her. V. sweet and sap-filled. Anyway, I ended up doing 2 pics for it. I'm not as happy w/the first one, as I don't do a lot of cel-shading and the linework was a bit rushed b/c I needed it done to make icons from.

Now the second one, I REALLY like. The linework is actually old, and I believe the pose was supplied by an obliging HitsugayaXHinamori pic but sadly I seem to no longer have said pic to verify that and/or credit. I normally don't swipe poses directly, but my recalcitrant art-muse refused to cooperate for anything but colouring today, so it was to the vaults with her. But yeah, this would be in the morning, after she's got her prince back. Oh, and if you're wondering why Neji doesn't have his juuin on his forehead, it's b/c a while back during the course of the RPG, Hinata took it off~
