I personally cannot see him as gay in any circumstance, but I respect that others think that. And I don't like IchiHime myself, but that's just bc I like pairings that for me make sense, and to me that one just doesn't, bc I don't see any hint of that sort of emotion in him towards her. But yeah, glad to see you liked my writing enough to ignore your not-like of IchiRuki. XD
I think it's really just most important to keep your characters IN-character, regardless of what pairings you choose.
